Update Licensing Policies
In order to be eligible to download/receive, install and operate any R&R ReportWorks Infinity update, you must have a valid license or licenses for R&R v12.x or later, sold as R&R ReportWorks Infinity. If you do not have such a license, installing or using this upgrade will invalidate your R&R license and the R&R program WILL NOT WORK. The product name /edition name has not changed, but it will not contain v12.1.001 of xBase Report Designer (still referred to as "R&R Report Writer") and xBase Runtime, plus Data Dictionary Version 3.

Support added for MOM6/Visual Foxpro

· Foxpro tables containing auto-increment and nullable fields will no longer
give a file contains unknown field type error.
· Index expressions including nullable keys are now supported.
· DBC tables may used for both master and related tables.
Support added for DBF tables that are greater than 2GB
· Greater than 2GB tables may be used in both Xbase Designer and runtime without
error or truncation.
· For performance reasons, you should not attempt to use FlexLink indexing with
these large tables.
Updated Data Dictionary and Report Librarian
· Support added for cataloging and viewing of table relationships forboth Xbase
and SQL reports.
Infinity Licensees' Methods to
Receive this Update
The quickest and simplest way for R&R Infinity licensees to receive the FREE update is to use the link and instructions below and download the updated program and resource files. This download is far smaller than a full CD-equivalent download and should only take a few minutes. After downloading the update, you may burn it to a CD if you desire, but only for internal use and you are not authorized to distribute it to any other parties without explicit authorization.
If you wish to have us send you a CD version of the update, you must contact us directly via email (livesales@livewarepub.com) or phone (800-936-6202 x204). There is a $20 fee for processing your request, plus you choose of shipping option: $7 Ground; $10 2nd Day, $20 Overnight.
For either CD or FREE download, you only need one update no matter how many R&R licenses you have.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Download to file RR121001.ZIP your computer, then open it to unzip its contents.
Copy the 4 updated program executables that are listed above to your ReportWorks
Infinity program folder replacing the existing copies of these 4 files.
Within the ZIP there is an RL folder containing the new and updated Report
Librarian and Data Dictionary files. Copy these to the your ReportWorks Infinity
RL subfolder. You will replace 6 existing files and add 4 new files.
Once you perform these two steps, your installed copy of ReportWorks will be at
the latest 12.1.001 release level.
If you have a server installation of R&R, you will only need to perform this
operation at the server. No workstation modifications are required.
POST-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Review the file Data Dictionary Table Pairs Supplement.pdf for details on the
new Table Pairs functionality that has been added to this release. On Page 6 of
this document you will find instructions on using the Join Load button within
Data Dictionary (DATADICT.EXE) to populate Data Dictionary table pairs from
reports that are currently catalogued in the Report Librarian.
Downloading the full
R&R ReportWorks
Infinity CD-Equivalent
At around same time that we post the update, we will be replacing the file on our website where purchasers may download a full R&R license with the latest build. Serial numbers will still be supplied separately. If you need to reinstall R&R ReportWorks Infinity for any reason, you should use the latest CD-equivalent and your current Infinity serial number.
Reseller Instructions
Beginning on or about May 1, 2007, Liveware will begin to ship CDs to resellers using the new program files. CDs you have in stock you can continue to sell and either instruct purchasers -- along with anyone else to whom you have sold R&R Infinity -- to download the new update from our web site. There is no need to swap stock or receive replacement CDs, as the serial numbers do not change with this update. We can send you package inserts instructing purchasers of the older build on what to do to receive and install the new update, if you feel you need them.
Impact on other Liveware product’s licenses
The free update to R&R ReportWorks Lite will be posted soon. You will have to have a valid ‘Lite’ license (although there are no serial numbers for ‘Lite’ for the updates to work.
