Introduction
The following download
files provide the latest version specific updates and fixes to
previously released Liveware Publishing products.
Before selecting a patch,
you should first determine your current software version. This can be done by
opening the Report Designer (RRW.EXE or RSW.EXE) and selecting Help About from
the main menu. The second line will display a build number. You can also right
click the executable file name in Windows Explorer and select Properties. The
Version tab will allow you to select the item named File Version. Version
numbers appear in an X.X.XXX format. The first two numbers represent the major
version and the third number represents the build level. For example, if your
current version is 11.1.007, you would review the 11.1.009 update since that is
the highest 11.1.XXX release.
In each section there is a
ReadMe or text file that describes the contents of the update. You should review
this document prior to downloading and applying any update. We also recommend
that you save the download file in a temporary directory on your system before
installing.
The Benefits of Upgrading
to ReportWorks Infinity
Note that each
Version/update is cumulative and includes all fixes that were incorporated in
previous releases. The current shipping release, ReportWorks Infinity
incorporates both new functionality and all previous fixes and is the base
release for all future modifications/enhancements. And once you upgrade to
Infinity, all future releases will provided to you at no additional charge. We
will continue to provide the existing download patches for earlier releases as a
convenience to our user community however there will no further modifications
available for these earlier releases. If you are using an earlier release, in
addition to reviewing the update details for that release, you should also
review the Features by Version Summary page for an overview of the features and
enhancements that have been added with each release.

Version 12.0.002 Update
This update to ReportWorks' runtime
executable (RRWRUN.EXE) will correct a problem whereby certain
combinations of relations would return unpredictable results.

This (10.1.003) update to R&R Version 10+
fixes a short list of problems
that were corrected after the initial shipment
of this release. You should only apply this patch if your current R&R
Version is 10+ (10.1.001or 10.1.002).
You can download this update as a single ZIP file containing all updated
files (RR101003.ZIP)
or you can separately download the updated help files (HELPONLY.ZIP)
and the updated program files (EXEONLY.ZIP).
DO NOT install this service pack if you do not already have an
installed copy of R&R Version 10+ (10.1.xxx).
Installation of this service pack against any R&R Version prior to 10+
will invalidate your R&R license.

Login problem found in the Version 10.1 Report Librarian. If you are using
Version 10.1 you should download this file and then unzip and copy it to
the \RL subdirectory replacing the existing file. |

are based on the current operating
system. If you have a network installation
or you will be distributing a runtime
application,
you may not have all of the
required PDF files.

This patch fixes errors using the calendar
control. This is a self-extracting program that includes the
file sscala32.ocx. Replace the existing version of this file
in your Windows system directory with this version, e.g.
\windows\system or
\winnt\system32.

This patch fixes errors resulting from
non-USA date formats specified in Windows Control Panel Regional
Settings. Run the self extracting program and follow the
installation instructions in the readme.txt file. |
