The only exceptions are: · RRPRVIEW.CAB goes in the \ActiveX subdirectory Note that RRPRVIEW.CAB is only required for viewing reports that are exported ActiveX (PDI format) for viewing in a web browser) · RAPIDRUN.EXE goes in the \RapidRun subdirectory DO NOT install this service pack if you have not installed R&R Version 10.0. FIXES INCLUDED IN THIS UPDATE Corrected in 10.0.012 · The version number (which is displayed in Help About) has been incremented to 10.0.012, Copyright 2003 Preview · Fix for 100% CPU while in Preview mode. Queries/Filters · Seconds added to time portion of query datetime fields. · 24-hour time format and day first date formats correctly displayed. · If date format has day first, month and day, combo boxes display day first. · ParameteRR fields in SQL filter correctly sent to SQL engine. Data Dictionary · Long (>254 character) dictionary calculations correctly supported. · Fields using Dictionary field properties are no longer reset when master file dialog opened. Picture from Field · Corrected problem where picture from field placed in group footer returned value from next rather than current record. Misc · Fixed pathname of blank.bmp in saved report · Some memory issues corrected for report using multiple charts. · Fixed stretching of fields on layout when using metric units. Result Set Browser · Result set browser returns an informational dialog instead of crashing when a report includes more than 255 fields Runtime · Size of RI_WPTR increased to 220 bytes · Correctly present SQL login dialog box at runtime when required. · Print-to-file check box added to printer dialog to support interactive PDF file output. · New R?W.INI file settings added to support runtime data dictionary usage. RSW.INI and RRW.INI now honor a new section named [Runtime] The available values for this section are: DICTPATH= DICTID= NOTE:DICTID must be entered in upper case Rapid Runner · Corrected error when opening a set that had been converted from a version 1.2 SQL set to version 2.0. · When a report item is added, the report file was not displayed initially (below the description on the right). · "R&R PDF Export" is now an available printer selection. When selected, the Destination automatically defaults to Print to File and requires the entry of an output filename. Note that if PDF is selected and then another printer is selected, the Print to File checkbox remains enabled. · Warning is now given when the saved printer setting is not currently available when the Report Destination screen is displayed. · Corrected error when consolidating dbf files and file name has a space. · List of printers in the Report Destination screen is now sorted. RRPRVIEW.CAB · Verisign certificate updated to extend validity to February 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------- Corrected in 10.0.011 Installation · Installer displays and copies the README.RTF that is in the root directory of the install CD. Xbase Scope · Corrected problem where scope value was ignored the second time a report was executed. · Only parameteRR fields whose type is the same as index type are available for selection as scope values. · If a parameteRR field used in a scope is deleted, user is now informed and asked to confirm. Queries/Filters · Corrected problem when a field used as the first field in a query is deleted, editing the query causes a crash. · Compared to fields correctly use table alias when required. · Character parameteRR fields used as part of a filter are sent to SQL engine with correct syntax. Note that you must create character parameteRR default values using a single quote as the delimiter. · Query dialog for date/date time selection now has "09-Sep" instead of "08-Sep". Data Dictionary · Adding Calc. field to dictionary shows correct associated table name when calculation depends on a related table. No longer get erroneously associated with the master file. · Dictionary display settings are correctly used for both table and calculated fields. · Right click viewing of dictionary descriptions of field on layout now works correctly in SQL version. · Default table alias names are now correctly read from data dictionary for SQL version. ParameteRR fields · Re-sort and re-selection of fields after inputting parameteRR's is only done as necessary rather than every time the parameteRR value entry screen is displayed. Totals/Export ·Crash caused by bug in handling Page (character-type) totals has been corrected. ·Crash caused by bug in handling case of Alias for export field has been corrected. Runtime Shortcut Maker ·The runtime shortcut maker (RRICON.EXE) no longer returns a Runtime error 5 Invalid procedure call or argument under Windows NT/2000 and XP. Note however that there is still an issue with the punctuation of the command line that is generated and the start in directory is erroneously set as the root directory rather than the program directory. These errors must be manually corrected by editing the shortcut after it is generated. Crosstab Export ·Crosstab export setting are correctly saved with report and will not cause an error message when report is opened.
